Autism Internet Modules (AIM)

This is a website that has 30 min to 2-hour learning modules covering different topics on how to better support a child/adult with ASD. The information covered is heavily based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) research but also has supporting research from other areas including developmental psychology, neurodivergent population, and education. To access the modules you must create a profile. Once you select a module you would like to start, it automatically saves your place and you can go back to where you left off. Almost all of the modules have a documents tab where you can find Parent Guides, Data Collection Sheets (if applicable), and a list of research references.

Autism Focused Intervention Resources & Modules (AFIRM)

This website is very similar to AIM’s website where you can create a profile and select different modules to learn strategies, information, and tools for supporting individuals with ASD. The AFIRM website does have a few topics that AIM doesn’t cover so it’s worth looking into, plus it’s free so why not!

Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT)

Let's say you've completed the Token Economy module on AIM or AFIRM and want to start implementing a token board with your child, but you don't have the time to create one. Sometimes we use whiteboards, paper with drawn boxes, or even phone apps - but if you want something more tactile then check out what is on the TpT website. Under the search bar, you can type in "Disney Token Board" and under the filter section select "free" and a whole page of options will come up. The TpT website hosts a variety of digital download products (eg. token boards, lesson plans, craft ideas, visual schedules) ranging between $0 - $20 bucks.
